A Warmer Transition

Despite the changing of the seasons, it's hard to transition into sweaters, jeans, and boots so quickly with Texas' still maintaining high temps. I'd much rather ease into things with...

When I think of my person style, I know myself well enough to know that dresses and skirts are my preferred bottoms. It's the ladylike quality about them that pull me in and I fell in love with this skirt when I saw it. not only is it a skirt, but it has ruffles too! *insert dancing gif* A fun fact about the skirt is that it is apart of a two piece set, which I was unable to score. Nonetheless, the beauty of two piece outfits are their versatility and I saw that with this skirt.

From the moment I purchased my skirt, I had the idea of a white turtleneck to carry it into fall and winter. I was lucky to find this sweater top during the Zara sale and it's the perfect piece to wear now during our weird, very warm fall we have in the South. I don't feel too summery because the top is thick, but the short sleeves and cut out provide ample amount of ventilation and skin. I pulled out my trusty white boots and felt to put together. I love these boots and rally need to wear them more, so it made me happy that they complimented this look so well.
