The power of the mind is not a joke

I am a big advocate for people believing in themselves and chasing their dreams. The thing that keeps them up at night or the thing they find themselves daydreaming about, is what I love for people to go after. This is all easier said than done, because responsibilities, but I think it's possible to be responsible and go after your heart's desire! It happens every single day.

Apart of going after dreams is believing that you can achieve them. Once we can fix our mind to know that we have the potential to do incredible things, we allow incredible things to happen. As a spiritual person, this resonates for me with my faith. I go to God for everything I want because I know He is the source of all my blessings. If I didn't have a good sense of faith, I think it would be harder for me to feel as confident as I do in my dreams.

Drake, my favorite rapper to quote, once said, "The power of the mind is not a joke." He did not lie with that verse, but he also didn't mention the power of the tongue. As hard as it maybe to believe, we all have some power in the things we bring into our life. Proverbs 18: 20-21 reads "From the fruit of their mouth a person’s stomach is filled; with the harvest of their lips they are satisfied. The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit." If you want it, you need to speak it into reality. With a prayer, an affirmation, and a belief in your higher being can bless you with everything you need make those dreams something you can actually live.

  1. It really isn't. Anxiety itself from my perspective amazes me with how real it can feel.

    1. That's a really good example! Our mental is so powerful that some can allow it to feel so strong it becomes debilitating.
