Spring Pink Dress & Mules

I am one of the few people that have an affinity for rainy weather. I love the sound of rain hitting things and like the way it makes the day very cozy. I also like to do things despite the rain, so it's rare for me to just sit at home on the couch when the drops trickle in if i have plans! A little water never hurt!
On our latest rainy day in Dallas, we had plans to shoot in this very pretty park, but things had to get moved around and we found ourselves in the Dallas Museum of Art. The DMA is a really cool place to go in the city, but I'll admit I don't frequent it often. Using it for our shooting location was perfect, however because it put it back on my radar and I will be going back to soak it ALL in.

Pink is my favorite color-Shocker, I know-and blush is a top 3 fave shade. It's so feminine, light, and the perfect shade for spring. I know Pantone dubbed Rose Quartz the color of the year in 2016, but I'm still seeing it everywhere, in home and fashion.
My dress is from Zara's 2017 Fall/Winter sale. I was trying on clothes for an upcoming trip and totally forgot I had it! It's so versatile and such an easy piece that I wanted to wear it ASAP. The high-low cut is very flattering for the season and really compliments the legs if that's an area you don't mind bringing focus to.

I got these mules for my AKAversary a week ago and we, my mom, granny, and I, all freaked out when we saw how perfectly they paired together! Mules are one of my favorite style of shoes due to their ease and versatility, and I'm extremely happy to have a pink leather pair. I pulled my hair back, so statement jewelry was my go-to in order to give a little oomph to things!
