Cozy, But Cranberry

Hey Guys! Happy New Year!

Wow, I can't believe I haven't blogged since last year...lol, I had to say that! I hope everyone had an awesome time bringing in 2018. In typically Sydney fashion, I was at home with my family. Maybe it’s because I don't “party” often, but I have literally brought in the New Year with family and friends in intimate setting every year.
The weather in Dallas has been COLD. I’m talking in the 30s kind of cold. Every day, I’m reaching for a sweater and I recently decided to pull out this cranberry one from The Gap. Its cable knit, pretty thick, and in one of my favorite winter time colors. Aside from Oxblood, Cranberry is the cutest color ever to transition from fall into winter. Other than it being a good mixing color, it goes really well with my skin tone! You can tell I love it so much by the velvet pants I also have. This allowed me to dip my out back into the monochromatic trend I really like!
My granny had the perfect jewelry set for the day and I was set. I don't have a shoe shot, but these black booties are my favorite boots I own! They’re Ralph Lauren and one of the best “treat yo self” gifts I’ve ever bought. With silver jewelry and black shoes, I pulled an old backpack that I go in between to give it that easy going vibe. I actually love shopping with a backpack because I can be hands free.
