Sweater Weather

Hey Guys…long time, no blog!

Last week, I dealt with both a hectic schedule and lack of motivation. I couldn't fit any time in to shoot and anything I though of writing about seemed like I was coming up with it because I had to. The “quality over quantity” standard is something I want to hold for Syd and the City, so I just decided to wait it out.
The lack of motivation wasn't helping either. I generally a plan two or three posts at a time in order for me to have some sort of organization, but again, things weren’t quality. Even with the outfit in this posts, I like it, but I don't love it, however, I feel comfortable showing something that has many pieces I love! Thankfully, a week off has me working on myself and my blog, so I’m getting back in the swing of things! I feel more Sydney like and that’s what’s needed for quality work.
As stated above, I’m not in love with the outfit. If I could go back, I'd do regular jeans and maybe ditch the coat all together, but we live and learn! My sweater is one size fits all and it’s actually my moms! I bought this top in camel and she chose black, typical for her, but I had to borrow it! Its typically waist length in the front, but given my height, it kind of gives a high low vibe. With the consistently, inconsistent weather, I threw on a coat to fight the chill. I paired my riding boots with it for the casual vibe, but upped the look with my jewelry and a festive red lip!

All in all, it's a pretty simple outfit, but I think its cute for this time of year. A lot of events and meet ups are happening, so I wanted to do a casual cute look for both the weather and holiday season. It involves a lot of simple, fall and winter staples that are so versatile that many looks can come from this.
