Thankful Dressing

November is winding down and that mean one of the best holiday’s of the year is coming up! If you thought Christmas, you’re wrong because I’m totally referring to Thanksgiving lol.

I have three favorite holidays and Thanksgiving is my number one. It's a mix of all the wonderful aspects like family and friends, food, football, cute clothes, and just the overall thankful aspect that warms my heart. I genuinely give thanks daily for the people in my life and Thanksgiving just comes as a day to express that thankfulness and eat, which is a win-win. SN: I do know the true history behind the holiday, however, I just choose to focus more on giving thanks to God for my blessings…and dressing.

Speaking of dressing, this look is 100% dressing, ham, turkey, greens, and all the desserts you can think of proof for the upcoming holiday! I noticed that the poncho can provide both good coverage no matter how many plates you indulge in AND a nice little cozy blanket when its time to relax on the couch! The colors are so fall appropriate as they match beautifully with the changing leaves, which makes pictures so much cuter.

Dallas has been all over the place with the temperature lately, so I though open-toe booties would be so cute! The fringe detail made these boots a favorite of mine and it just made sense to pair them with a poncho. The jewelry came from Dillard’s years ago, but it was the perfect match with both the top and lip color!
