Leopard Lady

 Hi Guys!
I feel like I haven’t posted in forever lol. If you follow me on Instagram, which you should be, you saw I went to homecoming this weekend at the University of Houston and let me tell y'all, I had So. Much. Fun!! Getting to see all my old friends, my line sisters, and just enjoying my first tailgate as a legal adult was better than I imagined. The three days in Houston felt like a whole week and I’m so thankful for my time there.

But now I’m back in Dallas and on my regularly scheduled program. Unlike Houston, the weather is much more cooler here and fall is apparent. We have been getting a few random hot days, but for the most part, you can tell the seasons have started to change. Leaves are falling, it gets cooler in the evening, and it's officially boot and sweater weather!

With the move into cooler temperatures, I like to incorporate a print into my wardrobe every now and then. While I don't go crazy and I’m sucker for dark colors, I think that a printed top, dress, or bottom can really elevate a look. It gives it a little something extra that I live for.

Leopard has been a long time favorite print of mine since I was a child. Along with cheetah print, it is the best animal pattern to wear year round to me. The day I found this pussy-bow blouse in leopard, I was automatically attracted to both the design and dressiness of it. The black around the wrists and neck tone it down a bit and provides versatility. I can wear it out like I did with shorts or I can put on with a pencil skirt and heels for a more chicer vibe.

I feel like y’all know I love boots by now, but in case you didn't know, I live for a good boot. I’m pretty short so over the knee boots can be tricky for me. They lengthen my leg depending on what bottom I’m wearing, which is why I wanted to wear shorts. Since I was covering my arms and majority of my legs, the little leg showing through seemed perfect for the both the actual weather and season.
I kept accessories to a minimal and went with a pair of black and gold earrings and a vintage purse I found at home. While the shorts came with a belt with silver detailing, the purse was suede like my boots and the earrings were a must.
