Event Recap: Glossier Dallas Pop-Up Preview Party

Hey Y'all!!
In case you haven’t heard, Glossier has come to Dallas!! Temporarily actually, but we can always keep our fingers crossed and hope they stay *wink wink*! I, along with the fabulous babes that I work with, got invited to their Preview Party last Wednesday and the pop up is definitely worth going to. Our store previously had an even with Glossier and that was my first introduction to the brand and I am very impressed!

Before I talk products, let me tell y’all that they went ALL out with the store! From the giant billboard out front to the cozy, yet pretty vibe inside, it’s so on brand. Imagine a store with a lot of reds, pinks, mirrors, and flowers…omg the flowers are so beautiful. The products are arranged neatly and organized by section; beauty, skin care, body, and the fragrance has its own little red room that’s a mix between romantic and strong femininity that’s memorable. It is DEFINITELY worth stopping by.

Product wise…

Glossier is focused on makeup that isn't harmful to your natural skin. They believe in letting your skin show through and ultimately enhancing what you got, instead of masking it, which I think is wonderful. I went ahead and bought a few things that I am very pleased with! I invested in the Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Balm Dotcom, and the Stretch Concealer. So far, I've tried everything  but the Balm Dotcom and I'm happy with them all.

Boy Brow: A pomade for eyebrows
This stuff is really good! My coworker is obsessed with this and after trying it at the party, I bought it lol. I got my eyebrows done and put this on and I’m like yes! I understand the hype and for $16, it's a good product.

Cloud Paint: Gel-cream blush
Before this, I’ve never worn blush. It intimidated me and I don't do my makeup to the point that I felt I needed it. BUT this stuff is nice! I've worn it with both a full and basically bare face and it is so easy to use and provided the perfect amount of color that’s so adorable. It retails for $18 and a little goes a long way.

Stretch Concealer
A super sheer, buildable concealer that looks like you literally have NOTHING on. I wore this and people commented on my skin and I said thanks, but in my head, I was like “I’m actually wearing makeup but thankssss!” lol. The color ‘Rich’ is perfect for my skin tone, but it is also the darkest of the color ways sadly. This is $18 too and if you’re into the whole no makeup, makeup look, please look no further and invest!

The party was really fun and I'm happy I got an opportunity to hang out with my coworkers for an "exclusive" event! I wouldn't be me if I didn't mention the food, so let me tell y'all that everyone needs to try honey burnt pizza! Out of all the trays going around, I found myself eating three slices...that good! I also wanna show off the Ref babes I work with, so keep scrolling for pictures *IG Story pics, so excuse the sizing* from the night and outfit details!
